House of Earth & Sky
This sustainable house boasts a kite-shaped floating roof, glass pavilions and rammed earth walls from site-sourced materials. Special attention was given to the structural design of the thin-profile roof, allowing for a lightweight appearance while maintaining its function to support photovoltaic panels, brace full-height glazing, and channel rainwater to underground cisterns. This home has a LEED Platinum designation.
